Performing Arts Center
With a unique combination of indoor and outdoor space, the Ponce de Leon Center, located in the heart of HSV, is a great destination for events. Wine tastings, art shows, weddings, dinners, ice cream socials, meetings, seminars, and classes are all just across from HSV’s performing arts center, Woodlands Auditorium.
The Ouachita Building offers space that can accommodate various size meetings, receptions and seminars. Board meetings and various community groups utilize this rental space.
Woodlands Auditorium is the Performing Arts Center in HSV. The 654-seat theater features state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and is host to approximately 75 cultural and entertainment events including Broadway-style musicals, drama, dance, vocal and choral productions. The Village Card Club was founded in 1976 to promote the game of bridge as a stimulating, recreational and social activity. We provide a wide venue of bridge-playing opportunities to our 800+ members. In 2011, the club set a record of over 10,000 tables played. Why bridge? It is an inexpensive way to stimulate mental activity and make new friends.
