Recreation Dept. Announces New Cultural Programs Manager

The HSVPOA Recreation Department is pleased to introduce Terry Wiley as the new Cultural Programs Manager for Hot Springs Village following the retirement of Rita Bohn.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing cultural programs for Hot Springs Village. “Terry will be working on audience cultivation, event fundraising, and performance and event programming, as well as developing partnerships with local cultural, social, and civic organizations,” Stacy Hoover, Director of Recreation said.

Wiley was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University.

A former Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Watuaga, Texas, Wiley led the development of the city’s cultural festival including funding, planning, marketing and execution. Additionally, Wiley led the planning and execution of special events, city festivals, concerts and celebrations for the city of Burleson, Texas. With more than 15 years’ experience in recreation and event programming, Wiley is adept in program coordination, operations management, and revenue generation.

Wiley’s office is at the Ponce de Leon Center, 1101 DeSoto Boulevard.
