The Kruger Brothers, May 13, 2017
The Kruger Brothers will perform at the Woodlands Auditorium on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.
Combining elements of bluegrass, folk, and symphonic arrangements; the Kruger Brothers are highly regarded in the world of acoustic music. They return to the region after last year’s successful appearance at the Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. In a three day stand at the famed Opera House they sold out nine consecutive shows. In 2013, banjoist Jens Kruger was named the fourth recipient of the “Steve Martin Prize for Excellence In Banjo And Blue Grass Music”. Jens has been inducted to the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame and nominated for Banjo Instrumentalist of the year by the International Bluegrass Musician Association. The Kruger Brothers have appeared on the “Late Night With David Letterman” and with several symphony orchestras throughout the country.
