October 31, 2016

Hot Springs Village continues its commitment to create and protect value through sustainable growth with new roles for Stephanie Heffer & Stacy Hoover

Through a series of promotions and staff realignments, Hot Springs Village signals a continued commitment to creating and protecting value through sustainable growth, in preparation for its 2017 real estate sales program launch.  Today, new roles were announced for Stephanie Heffer & Stacy Hoover.

Stephanie Heffer was appointed Director of Placemaking and Development.  Her new role surrounds designing a proactive Placemaking and Development strategy, supporting Hot Springs Village’s Enterprise Goals.  Complimenting efforts by the Director of Sales and Marketing, she will identify opportunities for ongoing community development, revitalization projects, and emerging programming trends. Heffer was hired in 1990 and has worked in a variety of departments including Accounting, Golf and most recently, Recreation.

“Having someone so passionate about all this community already is, while keeping an eye towards the future of real estate development trends, will ensure our continued recognition as a leader in the retirement and relocation arena”, Lesley Nalley, who assumes the Association’s Chief Executive Officer role on December 1st, said while praising Heffer for her work thus far.

With Heffer’s new appointment, Stacy Hoover, most recently the Director of Recreation Operations, has been promoted to Director of Recreation.  Hoover, originally hired in 2001, was the Communications Specialist, before transferring to the Recreation Department in 2011.

In her new role, Stacy will have oversight of the community center, performing arts center, fitness center, trails, pools, youth programs, tennis center, library, RV park, dog park, outdoor recreation, Waypoint Marina, beaches, and pavilions.

“Stacy has been an integral part of the Recreation management team and is committed to lead and develop recreation and lifestyle programming in support of growth plan initiatives”, said Linda Mayhood, Assistant General Manager.”
