Trails

Hot Springs Village has over 20 miles of structured trails within its gates for walking, cycling, and golf cart traffic.

A Hot Springs Village trails brochure provides comprehensive information on each trail, its location, length, and a map of the trail. Available parking areas for each trail are also provided.

An overall village map with marked trail locations is also contained in the brochure.

The brochure is available at each trail head, and is also available at the POA Administration Building, 895 DeSoto Boulevard.

The future of Hot Springs Village trails include an extension of the Hernando Trail eastward, past the Ponce de Leon Center, to the east crossing of Ponce de Leon Drive and DeSoto Boulevard. This will create an 8-mile Hernando Trail.

A connecting trail from the east portion of the Hernando Trail to the Balboa Spillway Trail along Ponce de Leon Drive, and a connecting trail from the west end of the Hernando Trail to the DeSoto Spillway Trail are also in the current trails construction plans, which would make it possible to walk via the trails from the DeSoto Dam in the west end of the Village to the Balboa Dam in the east.

Future trail construction also includes a new trail in the east portion of the Village, approximately three miles, crossing DeSoto Boulevard near Risco Way.
